Caught Up!

img_10461.jpg

While you were pondering the possibilities
I was busy causing a reality
Since it makes no sense to worry
About heaven so lovely or hell’s fury
I got caught up in the moment
Of becoming a component and proponent
Since words are becoming happiness
To save me from something pugnacious
For I’d rather turn the other cheek
Or roll my eyes to heaven
Than to fight another war
As with my ex-husband, Kevin
My hair grows with each day gone past
Soon it shall grow down to my ass
But it doesn’t stop there, so have a seat
By the time I see you, it’ll grow to my feet
And that’s okay, Love, I’m alright
Didn’t know my brain was a stick of dynamite
Like a firework, it explodes all over the world
After my curtsy, I’ll twirl and whirl my inner girl
I keep writing poems left to right
Looking past the ocean, there’s no end in sight
A penny for my thoughts would not suffice
Since my love is given freely as my only vice
It’s mightier than a sword
But please don’t abhor
I get caught up in the riptide
And simply have to confide

I've done this forever. Poetry is my endeavor. Call it poetic justice, butt I really whip ass with chalk dust. Go ahead, make my day. 'Bout time my play receive pay! And I'm a hypocrite I'll admit. But give me credit. I never ever quit!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
