LAVULVA

27 LAVULVA (HB-27)

Hi! My name is Lavulva! I’m a beach bum and sometimes I forget the sunscreen and my skin pays for it. On the plus side, my eyes really stand out in photographs. When I was younger, I was out in the woods hiking through some dark leaves. All a sudden, I stepped in a bear trap. That’s why I have such a mangled right foot. My right arm also suffers a few scars from having branded myself on some cookie sheets, not paying attention to where the edge of them was. But as I’ve learned over the ages, aesthetics isn’t really that important when it comes to love and relationships. Sure, it’s great to elevate the ego with a nice layer of foundation, beaming, colorful eyeshadow, and thick, voluptuous lashes, but that’s only the exterior. Personality and values are what veritably cultivate friendly relations in socializing situations. As a friend once told me, every time you try to be something for the world, it’s a disappointment. Whatever one feels from the depths of their heart, that is where they need to emanate. But it really isn’t something to be contemplated. This inner being should emerge naturally and without effort. It’s a weightless, emotional spirit that floats (or at least should) and even when it speaks the faintest sound, the message is heard. But remember, people seem to come and go. Our job is to allow them to. (As if we could control them anyways) Rules and restrictions are necessary to maintain order, but at the same time these man-made devices can be constricting and can suffocate life itself as a snake squeezes its prey. To re-direct their path and calling or to give them some kind of detour is also debilitating to their dream journey. Parents, friends, employers, and teachers do not always understand that. Unlike most of Bognetta’s homeless Barbies, I’m a little different because I’m not giving my naked, ‘having been found’ story. Instead, I give nourishment to feed on as faith will guide you along your life’s journey. Please help my fellow homeless Barbies to become warm, loved, and happy. It’s our vision and duty to help each other.
Mahalo! (Thank You!)

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
