HO HO JOLLY!

926.HO HO Jolly (Where's my Apples)

Since I am not close to expiration
I use my sweat and perspiration
For something entirely transpiring
And one day all will be admiring
Onward I press as the band leader
Each note that’s played sounds sweeter
And it’s always a big ‘Oomp Pah Pah!’
As we’re slowly inhaling our cole slaw
Bumping and grinding to the rhythm timing
It’s a dirty dance, at best, miming
And mimicking a familiar bird
Squawking, Tweeting, or Chirp!
Energy flows from my fingertips, you mind
Look out there! As one sneaks up behind
And grabs you ‘round your unawares
Checking your reaction of many cares
Rocking myself to soothe my nerves
He’s got his hands amongst my curves
And in my underwear I silently sit
To ponder over all my writ
Writhing in frustration
As my mind was on vacation
I realize my imagination plays tricks
To calm down all my nervous twitch
Being alone, I am trapped in brain
Rather than on a train, solitary again
But it’s amazing all the fantasy inside
Roaming and searching a glorious ride
If I’ve been captured by my own id
Then it must have been clever where I hid
Because with three people here – Me, Myself, and I
It’s honestly like heaven and I don’t lie!
Because to feel so madly inspired
Not taking inventory of what I’ve acquired
I find some kind of glorious peace
Just running around without a leash
If this is eternal freedom divine
I didn’t snag it from the grapevine
Never cared to be a carbon copy
Of somebody else’s ‘HO HO JOLLY!’

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
