Blue Belle

924.Blue Belle

We all wear that uniform
A responsible service dress
How the heck else could we know
The meaning of success?
Attractive, yet conservative
With the knowledgeable color, blue
So dignified, yet pretty & simple
Like Little Debbie and her dimple
Sweet as a snack cake
This woman has no time to bake
She’s probably the head nurse
Shouting orders without curse
And dressing all the many wounds
The soldiers suffered from buffoons
Yet even so, these ladies serve
Beside them with good manner
Yet injured fighters claim the glory
What on earth’s the matter?
But still she stands as our country’s symbol
Remembering the Blue Belle with her hands so awfully nimble

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
