George & Melody

George & Melody

George loved Melody
He sang her name with a symphony
Yet Melody only felt sympathy
That they’d never share sweet harmony
Melody’s tuned too well
To change the notes that swell
Or to lower her tone for him
So she went out for a swim
Yet the music kept on playing
George’s hips, they were a’swaying
For the concert in his head
Was a marching band instead
With all these instruments playing
Neither one knew they were a’graying
So the rhythm and the beat
Gave them energy to greet
Nature with it’s upbeat notes
On the river, tune, she floats
And the measure they are on
Is the same, they sing along
With the chorus of the choir
Each eye catches, they admire
Since they sing in unison
Voices change – this is the end

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
