Progress or Regress?

Progress or Regress?

Progress or Regress?
The glass is half empty or full
Yet my cup runneth over-don’t mull
This little piggie went to the market
That one’s out at sea
Which one of then could believe me?
If Humpty had a great fall
How did he get to climbing that wall?
Guess he had to proove he had balls
Or maybe there were too many calls
Peter had a wife he couldn’t keep
So all he ever did was weep
Since the pumpkin shell failed
He sat and he wailed
But really his stem had gone stale!
Cats in the alley just howling away
For someone to feed them day after day
One went to London, I think he had boots
That Puss came back with lots of loot
Making mny way and paving a path
Without strong opinion of my better half
I dug me a trench since i am but a wench
And I stayed in a tent so to vent
The city is a constant place of noise
And I can’t help all the boys
But I do not slap them nor be ‘nice’
Since I’m from the North full of ice
As for my childhood nursery rhymnes
These are the moments & these are the times
To escape that ‘ol monster reality
Telling me when to face brutality
Of being ‘responsible’, of paying my share
Without my own place, my hair want to tear!
Yet this is all a work in progress
Even though it seems that I regress!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
