Droplets Gleaming

Droplets Gleaming

Droplets Gleaming
Battered glass still intact
So pretty in its heart attack
Looks much like a spider’s web
With droplets gleaming in its ebb
Somebody left their mark
Since thier world was dark
And inside they were shallow
I’d even say they were callow
Only using half their wit
Forget maturity, they’re a twit!
This whole world they’d like to quit
But instead they need to hit!
We plan for prevention and care
And try not to pull out our hair
But then we want something back
As we constantly pick up the slack
Now comparison is part of evil’s root
It’s not that we’re poor as the soot
And expectations to succeed
Are the basis for this seed
As we succeed, there is greed
And we take more than we need
With so many mouths to feed
It’s no wonder we all bleed
Then the judgements come in floods
Who will clean up all this blood?
For not one of us will sweat
It is smelly, it is wet
It’s best that the glass took a hit
Instead of a face or a tit
What’s that? A bag of shit?
Just throw it in the pit!
Gracing you with my presence, I may not bring presents
From the fruits of labor come gifts and assets
That become liabilities and obligation
If one stops working, they receive a vacation
Therefore, to slow down and take one’s time
Is the gift I’d like to call mine
That way I feel happier to give
Or maybe more simply…I live!
Droplets gleaming in it’s ebb
The intact pieces of a spider’s web
Left from a crash course of life
This person has let out the strife!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
