Urbanized Sanctions

Urbanized Sanctions

Urbanized Sanctions
We have this obligation
Through all manipulations
It’s to spread our wealth
To help our health
But not too thin or we can’t win
See, they say champions have the most toys
But if they work too hard, how do they enjoy?
And what’s the sense of owning it?
Since really we’re all paying rent
Everything is temporary on this earth
Happiness is seizing experience – work
Some strive with muscles for body
Some strive with dollars to look haughty
Some strive to get it all free
Some make thier honey with the bee
Beauty and perfection are so various
Their definition escapes, so we’re vicarious
To see just how others ‘do it’
Attaining goals without Nike
Climbing some imaginary staircase
Sounding sophisticated while they freebase
Yes, they lost meaning in the translation
Acheived it all – so they go on vacation
Only this one’s not to learn
And when they come down, they still yearn
Somehow life isn’t enough to be high on
Addicted to an outside thrill
Doesn’t get it on Blueberry Hill
Seriously, these sanctions of differences
Resolve in sameness – my references.

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
