My Own Invention

My Own Invention

My Own Invention
I once took my life, yes, took my life – SERIOUSLY!
Until I heard a calling, Until I heard a plea
To just let it go and start horsing around
The tilt of my head, eyes to sky, not the ground
It’s when it occurred we are just Barbie dolls
Playing our life out amidst all the growls
We grumble about obligations
But what if each day could be a vacation?
Seeing that thru other’s eyes, how trivial
One day to the next is oblivial
Which means that it’s over – what then?
Get up and just do it again and again!
Wash, Rinse, Repeat, (who was left in the boat)
Apartment, Tent, Castle…moat
It’s always a hassle – gloat
Where did I put my remote?
Condo, House, Farm, or Cot
Who is richer? I forgot
So this, my friends, is result intervention
My poetry, therefore, is MY OWN INVENTION!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
