Between the Lines

Between the Lines

Between the Lines

He said he was as a mad man
She said she was a crazed bird
Together they just chattered
Of what would soon occur

Exchanging rings, Exchanging vows
Caused their minds to have some cows
In the wake of happenstance
They decided to simply dance

Just as the flames lick the edge of a page
So did their worries disengage
Soon they were as calm as a sailboat
And in still waters could stay afloat

He in black and she in white
The symbolism such a fright
Since black hides any smudge
While white shows it all

At night, black manages camophlage
While white is seen, but not heard
Yes, black, the color DOMINEERING proportions
While white illuminates INNOCENCE

Even so being…white shall brighten all shadows
And together, they shall reveal all definitions

In the end, the mad man became a clown
The crazed bird became his talkative, colorful parrot
She entertained him through her speech
And if she squawked, she laughed, not screeched

For he was a funny clown
That is why she made her sound
There was no longer black and white in their world
Only magnificent, kaleidoscopic color

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
