Sleeping Nightingale

Sleeping Nightingale

Sleeping Nightingale

Mirror, Mirror, on the ball
Who’s the hippest dame of all?
Spinning, dazzling sparks of light
Dancing Queen throughout the night?

Snow White? Snow White’s a fairytale
But Sleeping Beauty’s Nightingale

Bit the apple, and then fell down
Yet even now, she keeps her crown

Just as Eve was not afraid
Sleeping Beauty’s got it made!
For the apple of life did not hold poison
Only for a dry life did it moisten!

Dancing Queen is Sleeping Beauty
In a trance, she does her boogie
Oblivious to all life’s cares
Living her own is what she dares

And when the dancing night is through,
She goes to sleep when the boys are shooed
A peaceful slumber knowing she gave
An enthused outlook-Dance we crave!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
