Happiness…what is that?
But an insecure feeling inside
Everything’s going to be fine
Why do I say “insecure”?
Because nothing is certain or guaranteed…
We can’t be too sure!
This is just a temporary stopping point
For your pride to assume
All is so positive, and all seeds will bloom
Once the smile fades
And we’re back on track…
We find we continuously know not the fact
We only hope, plan, and dream
Since not everything is quite what it may seem
Smiling the whole time
We do it for the sake of false sense
Of old faithful security or absolute confidence
Isn’t it funny?!
This uplifting happiness is like
Something no one could take from us…what a psyche!
Yet the glow of a smile
Can light up a room
And send others flying away on their broom
It’s such sweet oblivion
This wonderful, ideal state
And such a stagnant place to smell invisible roses
Which are all but a stalemate
