Fruits
No matter what people say
They never could tell you to stay
No, no matter what words come
They’ll have to know you’ll stray some
For you could not live for them
From a unique seed, you also stem
To grow where the nurturing be
Means strong roots can sprout where earth’s free
Not all of us bear the same fruit
Some fruit is sweet, some sour
Some do not bear fruit, but flower
Some are attractive, but useless
Some are so bland, but keep juices
Why would one want to compare
Their own traits to others’, NOT FAIR!
Instead they should groom their own plant
And stop telling others they can’t
If we let others to be
Our fruits will bear much, like a tree
Standing so tall in the wind
Caring not to hear it
