Watch the Pigeon

Watch the Pigeon

Watch the Pigeon

I’d like to think I’m much accomplished
Not to think of all abolished
But I’m not quite that adult
To follow others in a cult

It’s not so much a bad religion
Yet, it is fun to watch the pigeon
Each one traveling distant shores
To only find themselves in stores

These birds, they fly to gather much
Most everything except their lunch
And then they turn to circle home
From where they started, all alone

So what has trip then taught for them?
Forever traveling with no end
They find some comfort in their rest
Of home at last within the nest

So here I am so darn mature
Just watching life I sometimes stir
To wait for tired birds to land
On feet to hear me as I stand

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
