Turkey

Turkey

The tables you turned were not mine
Your own life to you was divine
But you shut my door of my home
Which you stayed when you felt alone
Therefore, I could not let you in
I gave you no key for your sin
So now you can howl like a dog
When I was one you only flogged
But I could not hurt as you did
I’d rather be on row of skid
Than thinking up something to do
To hurt you or simply to stew
As if my home were so unworthy
It’s not, and you’re only a turkey
So gobble up the crumbs you may get
‘Cuz just as I am, you’re all wet!

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
