One More Thing
Plans for the future don’t know
But right now the times going slow
Need to build up my presence from scratch
Just to see how my planning would hatch
They say sometimes plans do not go
The way that they should, you know
So maybe then I won’t bother
By the seat of my pants, I’ll holler
It seems that I do anyway
Even when I get time to play
Seems there’s more to do than that
I think of things much less than flat
Maybe I have seen it all
So now I should just grab my shawl
And cover shoulders which are bare
“I’m cold and tired!” I declare
But even warmth from shawl won’t warm
The icy spots of soul of dorm-
ant. And my thoughts just wind around
To find something already found
As if I’d be happier than before
When it is that I get more
Then when I get that one more thing
I’m just as then…a ding-a-ling!
