Not Much Puppy Love

Not Much Puppy Love

Not much Puppy Love

If only one day you’d come across my work
Then you’d know you acted like a jerk
But you don’t want to hear it or to know
Think the game perfection is a show

What was it you saw there in my eyes?
Something like the sun of setting skies?
A moonlight walk, a kiss close in your arms
Neither did we gain in trick of charms

If we were free, we’d take it all the way
Running in and out with length of stay
Where the rainbow ends I do not know
Only one big body with which to flow

But we can’t explore that mystery
And write it off as trip of history
Yet we may as well have done all that
Lost so in other under hat

Yes, imagination stirred our image
Of ourselves on other in the scrimmage
Loosening to only start it up
Tripping on a shoelace like a pup

Of course it’s puppy love, but not that much
That full grown dogs like us could never touch
We’d only yipe and yip and yelp and snarl
No chance for it to ever get that far

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
