Never to Possess or Thwart
If I didn’t have such a sentimental heart,
I’d only live in fear of when and whom to start
And even though it faces chance rejection
That is not the thought I’d ever mention
True a romance burns all it consumes
But even so, I’m not left in the ruins
Because there is some use left with the sashes
They clean and polish when I rub with sashes
Again, I gleam for everyone to notice
And squeeze so tight my ever-loving bodice
So I approach the ones who would then have me
In their arms so tenderly, not grabbing
We would soon then enfold into the other
Caressing one another not to smother
Once again we then would be so pleased
That we could get right down on hands and knees
This is love so caring, not so stuck
Into each others business which to muck
And we can go about our lives-Away!
Never to possess or thwart-No Way!
