Feeling is Buoyant
Create some poetry for you?
Okay, I will try, but I’m already thru
With bitterness, anger, and pain
These things in my life did they strain
But even as tautness must be for the strings
To play lovely music, the melody sings
So far off on island, surrounded by waves
She hasn’t wrote lately, attention she craves
Yet if I’m not sailing, at least I can swim
Tho’ torrid the current, it isn’t that grim
A lifeboat to save me? I’m stronger on own
I’ll float on my back with the clouds that are shown
No, my dear Sister has not wrote from Guam
But that’s not important I haven’t a qualm
If I ever reach the sure-footed ground
I’ll return to the water, where never could drown
The feeling is buoyant
The gravity’s less
And in this here river
I feel I am blessed!
