“Share my life with whom?” I say?
Have not received a nod, Okay?!
Running always here and there
Like a game of truth or dare
Do not attempt to tell it all
Or you could have an awful fall
If they decide to leave you out
It’s not surprising – Feed your doubt
They try to convince us they are great
Exalting themselves, it is their fate
But really they are just like you
Just carrying on without a clue
If they knew love and what it is
Then they would simply mind their own biz
But instead they compare, never finding the way
In perilous world, they decide to stay
But telling your side of the story
Makes life for them to become gory
Since now they can’t rely on you
To be their scapegoat, once you’re through
And now they act like they’re your friend
Oh will the saga know no end?
If they could have truly believed in me first
I don’t think the play I would have to rehearse
