Away from the Beagle

Away from the Beagle

Away from the Beagle

Justice was served, but there was no judge
No longer I hold that awful ‘ol grudge
It had to be done, Yes something and quick
Too close for comfort, so lickity-split

There were some hard feelings because you weren’t kind
Instead threw me out as in some kind of bind
Did not want to face it, but you played a part
Attention to me drew me near to your heart

Stuck in-between a hard place and a rock
You tried to support me, but went into shock
For I turned my back not to look at the sun
You’re ever so bright, Frankly not too much fun

Then came a time I could give you a chance
To listen to you once again in a trance
And so then, I did, but I laid down the law
To stick to plain business and not make a flaw

So strict I did treat you, much like a war soldier
I did not break down, Eyes would never roll over
Afterwards I got up, and just like an eagle
I spread wings to fly far away from the beagle

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
