Can’t Be Simple
Sometimes I wonder why everything can’t be simple
Instead, it seems we always deal with ripple
Is it that we never could just pause?
Always looking for the blame or cause
Or is it that we talk right over head?
Ignoring feelings which could cause some dread
If we were not selfish and more pure
We could work together for a cure
When we have the time to stop and listen
We can see the clear blue water glisten
That’s the time when we can feel the power
Loving tears break down in awesome shower
Once the rains have washed away the paths
We can forget that we have wraths
Not quite seperated by the turns
Laughing at our many stupid yearns
That’s the way we should all come undone
Sometimes it’s the light in which we shun
But for now, I’ll put concern away
Hopefully forever won’t it lay.
