Not Eating Crust
You’re so adorable when you’re scared
I’ll fall in love and show I cared
Despite the fact that you don’t trust
That’s so mundane, not eating crust
You cut away the outside edges
To eat the softer bread in wedges
Didn’t your Mom say; “Don’t waste food!”
Or did she tell you that you could?
How could you get all ten vitamins?
When you can’t even eat the outside leavens!
You must eat it, others can’t eat
You can’t go hungry-Eat the meat!
You say you won’t like it since it’s filled with protein
But I say, “Pretend you did.” And you think it’s so mean
Then you say, “Fine!” and take it from me
I see you grew strong, I think you’d agree
Now it’s not a problem to eat it all up
No problem at all, and we drink from one cup
So now you’re not such a fussy young man
