Some Kind of Fairy
If I looked you up in the dictionary
I’d look you up as some kind of fairy
Flying around in a world of the past
And waving your wand ‘cuz you think it can last
I won’t wait a lifetime, at least not for you
Won’t carry a torch even if you are blue
For you can’t insist so to tell me you’re right
I can not forget you; I’ll put up a fight!
You tell me to drop it and just to unwind
Can’t have conversation when I know your mind
Someday I will see you much later in time
And then you can read from this poetic rhyme
I hope you will like it and like it a lot
Or maybe in book it can sit and can rot
No matter the fate of my love, I don’t care
At least I’ve still got it, I’m out of your hair!
